Whole30 Favorite Meals

Taco Salad from my Salad Inspirations cookbook

Are you starting the Whole30 reset today? Next to January, September is the most popular time to do this food elimination diet. I was a Certified Whole30 Coach for six years before they did away with the Coaches and now offer a paid “cohort” through their headquarters. Makes sense to keep all of the money made on Coaching for themselves…but I digress.

As a Holistic Health Coach and Integrative Nutritionist I still think it’s a great reset if you are trying to figure out food intolerances, get back into a healthy eating routine or eliminate sugar and alcohol. It is NOT a diet or weight loss program so do not use it as such or expect lots of pounds gone at the end of 30 days- that’s not the point. There is actually a New Whole30 book out with new rules and the Plant Based version included. I like the fact that new science means new modifications and the rules reflect this. But if you know the rules and are looking for great meals to make I’m sharing my TOP TEN tried and true recipes that your kids and friends will also love. You can make the dish and add rice or pasta for the rest of the family while you just eat the main dish. I think you will be surprised how delicious these are and after going through many rounds myself and coaching hundreds of clients, you can trust me!

  1. Creamy Tuscan Chicken- Hands down my favorite Whole30 recipe of all time. I make it even if I’m not officially doing a round and add pasta but it stands alone or you can use artichoke heart noodles like Palmino.

  2. It’s almost soup season and this Butternut Squash soup is ready in 8 minutes! You can add some Collagen powder, chopped chicken or a side of your favorite protein for a balanced meal.

  3. It’s the perfect time for this Summer Italian Chicken Stew because of the harvested veggies that are abundant at this time of year.

  4. Meatballs are such a great thing to meal prep and these Asian Meatballs are on repeat in my kitchen. I often make a nut butter satay to dip them in and I have a great one in my Salad Inspirations cookbook (which has so many great Whole30 salads as well!)

  5. Breakfast can be challenging if you are used to bagels and cereal but think outside the box with these Breakfast Kabobs. Also a great idea if you get sick of eggs for breakfast.

  6. Keep your sides interesting with a variety of veggies like these Crispy Smashed Potatoes. That sauce is so good you will want to double it for later use on steak or fish.

  7. Don’t forget sauces and dressings to amp up your proteins, eggs or sides. I love pesto in all forms and I promise you do not miss the cheese with this creamy Pistachio Pesto.

  8. Having company or need a dish to impress? How about these Whole30 Crab Cakes? So good your guests will never suspect how healthy these actually are.

  9. Comfort foods like Chicken Pot Pie get a healthy makeover with this Chicken Pot Pie Casserole. I crave this every fall and I’m actually making it this week!

  10. Lastly, dessert definitely looks different for these 30 days. I stick to simple fruits like berries but add a fun whipped cream made from canned coconut cream. Here is an exact recipe- just remember NO sweetener for the month. I promise that your taste buds will change and the fruit itself will taste amazingly sweet after you detox from all of the processed sugar in your system.

Hope this gives you some inspiration to tackle the next 30 days. Don’t skip the reintroduction if this is your first time through! It’s so important so you can isolate and figure out any potential food intolerances. I also have a Whole30 Pinterest Board with lots more recipes if you want to check it out here. You can also visit my Kitchen Favorites on my website. And speaking of my website, I am an Affiliate with lots of Whole30 partners so check out my Discount Codes before you order anything!

And lastly my Amazon storefront which also has lots of Whole30 Endorsed Cookbooks for even more variety and recipes to use.

Best of luck and please reach out if you want to set up a quick call for any guidance. I’m here for you!
